Tetons Announce Signing
Williston State head women's basketball coach, Bill Triplett, has announced the signing of Sari Murphy, a 2025 graduate of Dawson County High School in Glendive, Montana. Murphy spent this past year at North Idaho College in Couerd'Alene, Idaho and will transferring in Williston in the fall.
The 5'11" guard averaged over 12 points and 7 rebounds for the Red Devils while in high school and was a two-time all-conference performer.
"We are happy that Sari will be joining us next fall", stated Coach Triplett. "She's a good person, good student, good player, and comes from an awesome family that has a lot of basketball in their DNA. Sari's father, Wade, who is the head boy's basketball coach at Dawson High School, played for me for four years about three decades ago at Reed Point High School in Reed Point, Montana, and Sari has several siblings that excel at the game as well. She comes from a basketball family, that's for sure. I've always felt that having sons or daughters of coaches on your team is always an advantage".
Welcome to Williston State and our Teton family, Sari.
